This website is run by Dee Maher, who is the data controller for personal data collected through it. Contact: stay@sunseamalta.com.
What we collect and why
Bookings. When you book, we collect your name, contact details, number of guests, stay dates and payment information. We use them to manage your reservation and stay (contract), to meet legal duties such as Malta's guest registration and eco-contribution records (legal obligation), and to keep our accounts.
Enquiries. If you email or message us, we use what you send to reply.
Website. This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Who processes it for us
Reservations are handled by Hospitable (booking management) and card payments by Stripe. They process data on our instructions and under their own security commitments. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Booking and accounting records are kept for as long as Maltese tax and tourism law requires, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it, by contacting us. You can also complain to Malta's Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC).
